Forestry Training
We are a forestry industry preferred provider of training, assessment, traineeships in the areas of Harvesting & Haulage, Saw Milling & Processing, Forest Growing Management from the Forest and Forest products training package.
This timber training is for both experienced forest operators and people looking into obtaining work in the forestry industry. Training and assessment is provided to forest operators to enable them to apply for their relevant forest operators licence in both NSW and Vic. We provide re-assessment as required for operator licencing.

Forestry OH&S This is a required unit for those that are currently or interested in working in timber harvesting in NSW or VIC to gain the state operators license. Content: safe work practices, OH&S legislation, Personnel Protective Equipment, signs and symbols, communication, identify risk and hazards, emergency procedures. |

Environmental Care VIC It is required for people that are working in the timber harvesting industry that they must hold the following environmental care procedures to be able to obtain relevant operators licences. Content: identify environmental care requirements, follow environmental care procedures, seek opportunities to improve environmental care practices, maintaining work sites, achieving environmental goals. |

Saw Milling & Processing Cert II, III, Cert IV Timber Processing Traineeships Courses are designed for your workplace requirements and can be tailored to suit your business needs. Content: timber grading, OH&S, machinery assessments, risk assessment and hazard identification, units of FP105, Traineeships Cert II & III in Saw Milling & Processing, Cert IV in Timber Processing. |

Chainsaw Maintenance You will gain the required knowledge and skills to maintain a chainsaw safely and correctly. On completion the student will be issued a National Recognised Statement of Attainment. Duration: 1 day Content: strip and assemble chainsaws, cleaning, identify, name and check component for wear of a chainsaw, chain sharpening and correct tensioning, reassemble the chainsaw, fault finding. |
